Our Town


 PLEASANT HILL sits on top of the Cumberland Plateau, which runs north and south through middle Tennessee, approximately mid point between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. The town has a land area of 1.55 square miles, .01 square miles of water and an elevation of 1896 feet.   European Americans first settled Pleasant Hill in 1819 and it was incorporated in 1903. Nestled in the softly rolling hills live 579 people.

SPRING FESTIVAL will be held to benefit the  VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT May 18, 2019 at the Moore Acorn Farm, Pecan Place Event Center, 246 Goose Hollow Lane, Crossville, Tn., outside of Pleasant Hill.  BRING LAWN CHAIRS

KID FRIENDLY EVENT 11 A.M. TO 3 P.M.  TICKET PRICE FOR KIDS is $10.00, KIDS UNDER 2 FREE and includes:  Fire trucks, bouncy house, face painting, cake walk, corn hole, rock painting, door prizes.   Hot dogs, hamburgers, corn on the cob, baked beans, popcorn, drinks and snacks.

LIVE BAND  EVENT 4 P.M. TO 8 P.M.  ROLL THE DICE will play. Dancing, raffle, door prizes, auction at 8 P.M. TICKET PRICE  $15.00 FOR ADULTS, KIDS UNDER 12 FREE. TICKET PRICE FOR BOTH EVENTS $20.00, KIDS UNDER 12 FREE.  Live band event menu is hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, cole slaw and drinks. BEECHER SEEGRAVES Veterans Memorial Park will be located at Main Street and Mayland Road.  The  ground breaking ceremony was held April 8, 2019 at 11:00 at the site of the Park followed by a well attended reception at the Townall. 


A LITTLE FOOD BOX  will be located in the parking area of the Town Hall with the motto:

"Take what you need, leave what you can."
